GETTING DOWN AND DIRTY
...It's a Revolution and not a Revival
With their revolutionary mixture of R&B, rap and pop, Alluvion, Central Florida’s newest singing sensation, is making fans take a second look and listen. Alluvion’s quartet consists of brothers, Ryan and Brandon McClary and brothers, Quinton “Que” and Willie Arrington.
Alluvion began when the parents of Ryan “Alluvion” McClary noticed that their son’s enthusiasm for music went beyond an occasional after school hobby. He has been writing and producing music since the age of 5. Ryan’s sync with music is described as if he came out the womb with a pen and paper in hand. His smooth, new, vibrant and fresh lyrics are nothing like audiences have heard before. Ryan is no stranger to music or the industry his father is the legendary Thomas McClary founder of the Commodores. Ryan and his brothers began working in a home studio and pieced songs together that flowed together lyrically beyond their young ages. The McClary brothers not only sang, they also choreographed and perform full pieces for their parents and family. Once they saw how serious their children were about music, Thomas and his wife Beryl McClary decided to support their son in making his dream a reality.
Although Ryan is only 16, the sky is the limit for where he wants to go. Alluvion’s other members, Brandon McClary, Quinton “Que” and Willie Arrington share the same love and passion for music as Ryan. The group’s cumulative talent surpasses many musicians their age as they write, produce, and choreograph their music.
Quinton “Que” Arrington is the lead singer and choreographer for the group. “Que” met the McClary’s as the choreographer for their father’s show. His eye popping moves have the best performers in Orlando knocking down his door. “Que” is not a rookie to the music scene, he has been singing and dancing since he was six, he also, writes lyrics and makes music.
Brandon McClary is a co-writer and also contributes with lead and background vocals. He has been singing and dancing professionally since the age of 12. Alluvion learned of his brother’s talents when he performed with him at a middle school talent show. Brandon musical talents also expand to instruments as he plays the piano and drums.
Alluvion has performed at the Zora Neale Hurston Festival, Sea World, YMCA, Valencia Community College, and at middle and high schools throughout Central Florida.
