Now in its fifth year, the Billboard Touring Conference has become the most efficient and workable event for the concert business. This must-attend conference unites today’s top touring professionals to discuss the current state of the industry.

KEYNOTE Q&A with GENE SIMMONS

The Man, the Myth, the Merch
Join us for this must-see Q&A session with the co-founder of the legendary band KISS and the star of A&E's hit TV show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels." This wildly successful entrepreneur, whose fingerprints are on virtually all segments of the music industry, will discuss his  far-reaching business ventures and will share the 'Gene Simmons world view' with attendees.

Guided by Ray Waddell, Billboard’s executive director of content and programming for touring and live entertainment, this unique event includes potent panel topics, provocative discussions, productive roundtables as well as networking opportunities with touring industry power players and decision makers.

In addition, this two-day conference is capped off by the Billboard Touring Awards, which honors the concert industry's top artists and professionals based on actual data compiled through the Billboard Boxscore chart. In 2007, the awards reception also included two special honors – The Humanitarian Award presented to Kevin Wall, and the Legend of Live Award, presented to Frank Barsalona.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Promoters, agents, managers, venues, sponsors, production professionals, merchandising companies, ticket agents and other touring-related businesses!

"We’re thrilled to give our conference attendees an opportunity to not only see one of the great live bands ever in this intimate setting, but to also support a wonderful cause in the Bill Graham Foundation", says Billboard’s Ray Waddell.
